As we all know, Sony plans to do spin offs that will ride the success of Spider-Man: Homecoming, said films starring Venom, Black Cat and Silver Sable.
This is outrageous and unacceptible, as we know Sony will deliver poorly. So, the question I present is this: How do we fix this? Clearly we don't want this, so how do we let our displeasure be known? How can our disappointment be heard? How can we prevent this?
All I hear are moans, groans, and complaints, but never ANY solutions. So what would help?

Nothing, they complain about everything.

they do it for money
deprive them of money and they'll stop doing it

But why aren't they? I mean, if the "nerd audience" didn't see it, surely they'd notice, right? But this supposed "nerd audience" hasn't. I mean, I bet most people here who HATE Spider-Man: Homecoming knew they would not like it...but probably saw it.
Why? How do we stop that?

Or conversely, give them a ton of money and snag yourself a roll as producer to ensure the product you want is what gets made.

Honestly losing Venom and Black Cat is no big deal for this universe. Let Sony fuck around with them and further prove they cant make films for shit, its not like the symbiote story will be done justice by either studio anyway, not to mention Venom is overrated as fuck.

They take place in a 4th universe.
Not Rami's
Not ASM
Not MCU
a 4th universe, where spider-man exists.
spider-man MUST exist, even cameo or be featured. Peter Parker is not needed. They can work around that. Just Spider-man. A different one from MCU. A more adult and grown up spider-man.

> fix a multi BILLION dollar franchise. Seems like you're the only thing wrong here
>>93834331
I don't care about what universe it is if it's still utter SHIT.

See, the problem with that, see, is that kind of thinking is normal. We shouldn't be thinking like that. We should feel excited. We should be fucking glad.
