He made that Coney Island short film like 2 or 3 years ago.

But Cool World basically ended his film career in Hollywood. He pissed off a lot of producers (got in a fist fight with one of them) and I imagine he became disillusioned with the whole industry after being fucked over on that movie.

And considering the racial and sexual content in his movies, do you really think he'd ever be able to find financial backers in this day and age of SJWs, trigger warnings and safe spaces?

He's a relic of a bygone era. Enjoy his filmography under historical context.
