I wish they'd just given him an animated Transmet rather than have him ruin Castlevania with his flat characters and tonedeaf edginess and jokes about testicles and goatfucking. I love you Ellis but you're an insane satirist, not an appropriate writer for a gothic horror series.

I have zero experience with the Castlevania franchise. The only other Ellis I've read was the first volume of Trees, which I enjoyed well enough to buy the second one. Looking at my bookshelf, I guess I also read Crécy, which I vaguely recall as being kind of neat but not that exciting.
