Has Ragman always looked like Ryan Gosling in Drive?

It's an interesting update. The only Ragman I've read was very highly invested in his Jewish identity and I assume this will be less (it's not like he's a member of the IDF or something).

I am liking DCs using of these upfront miniseries to explore more minor characters, and I guess if one is a real hit they'll spin it into an ongoing.

I had a few issues of the 80s or 90s Ragman where the suit was actually rags. This seems more mummy-esque. I didnt read much of what I had as I got them from a family friend who was throwing them out.

Regardless I like the idea of a seperate Gotham hero fighting off the supernatural side of Gotham's evil. Last thing I read that did this was Simon Dark.

Which itself would have been 100 times more badass had Simon just remained an elusive yet deadly supernatural anti-hero who was known only through haunting childrens rhymes and urban legend. He ended up being too childish for my liking.
