It's /co/.
>>
>>93799073
>still no 17776 or football in the post

fuck you
>>
>>93799073
No, it's not.
>>
>>93799153
Other webcomics are allowed. Why isn't this one, then?
>>
>>93799153
Well then please direct the fans to place where it's safe to make a thread and discuss
>>
>>93799164
This isn't a webcomic.

>>93799175
/lit/
>>
>>93799192
How?

Also, for those new: https://www.sbnation.com/a/17776-football
>>
>>93799192
but /lit/ is place for just words

this has words, images, and videos
>>
>>93799230
>what are illustrated stories
Dumbass.
>>
>>93799245
>what are illustrated stories

I believe people would call those comics, or perhaps even movies?
>>
>>93799245
So, comics?
>>
>>93799245
>illustrated stories
>not comics or cartoons
>>
>>93799245
It's a slideshow of Google Maps images thrown into a filter.
It's the equivalent of calling a trash can a piece of art.
>>
>>93799192
>/lit/
>implying
>>
>>93799333
If Hussie can do it and call it a comic, then what's stopping us from doing it when Bois does it?
>>
>>93799333
And a comic is just pictures with words attached.

Just give it up.
>>
>>93799073
>that intermission

I'm too fucking tired for this existential shit.
>>
Well I guess it's better late than never to talk about the update.

So I guess this proves that 8 billion people still exist and no "tragedy" happened, but now it makes even less sense why there aren't any kids around.
>>
>>93799384
This story isn't structured like a comic. Also, a comic has artists working on it. This is just text with the occasional filtered picture.
>>
>>93799475
How is it not structured like a comic? It's structured much like most multimedia web content a la Homestuck. The visual content is vital to the presentation of the story, you can't simply ignore it.

You could argue that it belongs to /lit/ OR /co/ OR /sp/, and threads could work on any board. /co/'s userbase liked the comic best, so now the threads stay on /co/.
>>
>>93799367
At least that has drawn pictures.
>>
>>93799475
first of all
>art
is subjective

collages are art, image editing is art. just because Bois himself didn't buy a tablet and draw up images in photoshop doesn't mean he isn't an artist of some sort

plus homestuck wasn't structured as a traditional comic either, yet it still falls under /co/ topics
>>
>>93799541
So is Dinosaur Comics not considered /co/ then, because it is just edited stock pictures with different text depending on the comic?

It's on /co/ because it technically fits in the parameters and /lit/ naturally wouldn't discuss it, because it's closer to an intellectual /fit/ or /ic/ than a literature based /tv/ or /a/.
>>
On-Topic, the update continues to characterize Juice and Ten. Ten, in particular, is alluded to be something of a perfectionist, seeing as how a simple typo can be ammo against her.
>>
/co/ - Everything Under the Sun
>>
>>93799261
>>93799262
>>93799277
This sure looks like a comic to me!
Fucking idiots.
>>
>>93799192
But those guys are snobs.
>>
>>93799718
The images are a necessary element of the story. That makes it /co/.
>>
>>93799719
And /co/ are idiots. Your point?

>>93799752
No it doesn't.
>>
>>93799684
Exposition fairies are always neurotic
>>
>>93799714
/co/ - it has a fandom so it goes here
>>
>>93799786
Look, whether or not someone agrees with you, why are you in this thread in the first place?

More people seem to agree that it's /co/ than not, and plus I'm pretty sure people came in this thread to discuss the [comic/novel/whatever]. If you really want it out of your catalog so bad, then either ignore it, hide it, or report it.
>>
>>93799455
i guess everyone grew up until they were in their prime

Please fuck off any time. It's clearly not dusty and pretentious enough for /lit/. It has animated segments and uses sequential imagery; if it doesn't belong here on /co/ it doesn't belong on any board.
>>
>>93799801
There should be a section for online things that don't quite fit the mold of comics or lit and whatnot. Stuff like 17776, and podcasts like Night Vale have kinda become their own thing, with quickly exploding fandoms.

17776 just started last week, and there's already a lot of fan arts and tumblrs and fans spouting theories.
>>
>>93800147
It's also done this week.
>>
>>93799714
I'll gladly take threads about this over another /pol/bait thread
>>
This is about as /co/-worthy as Worm.

By which I mean it isn't. Fuck off already.
>>
use a more searchable OP next time
>>
Who the fuck cares

I personally welcome this above fucking /a/, /v/, and /tv/ posters who meander in here because our board is slightly less autistic than theirs.
>>
>>93799684
Ten is kind of a cunt. She came to a bullshit conclusion that kept her satisfied enough for thousands of years and now she cannot get why Nine isn't as happy with it
>>
>>93800678
Seconded

Also, hasn't anyone else noticed this (sort of) plothole?
>The nanopartical network [another typo by Ten] was deployed in 2800s, and by the 3500s it was more or less perfected
But then JUICE talks about how he watched people stepping on garden hoes for 200 years. Even if the nanos only stopped garden hoes after perfection, that must mean that JUICE has to have been self-aware since the 3300s, and possibly even before the 2600s. At the same time, Ten was aware and also watching.

So at the latest, JUICE and Ten must become self-aware in ~1300 years. Then why the fuck did it take Nine so much longer? It's not like Ten was way more advanced than Nine, unlike how JUICE is.
>>
>>93799073
ITT /lit/ try to make a subtle book thread.
>>
It's /sp/
>>
>>93801345
the only fiction on /sp/ is mandrama, they don't even get spoiler tags over there
>>
>>93800848
I'm thinking she kinda hit the same existential angst Nine had several thousands years prior, and it morphed from that to rage to cynicism as she realized that this was humanity's final form.
>>
>>93801113

Throwing these out for you people to argue about. As it is, I'm against this being here, but I just typically hide the threads.

Also, Homestuck does have panel work even if they aren't on the same web page; this in addition to animated sequences.
>>
>>93800213
It has the courtesy of being short, Yes. Although, earlier today, I was pondering what soccer has morphed into in Europe as a result of this experiment, and who's watching them.
>>
>>93802855
If soccer has survived this long being as boring as it is, then it likely is unchanged.
>>
>>93803080
Alternately, the promotion/relegation system escalates so games determine whether towns & cities grow and expand, or get absorbed by others.
>>
>>93803275
>>93803080
Or games evolve into weird zoning and housing projects ala the Broncos/Steelers game.
>>
>>93799541
But much of Homestuck is straight up photoshopped collages of stuff off google images.
>>
>>93802396
It's important to note that board specifications don't necessarily line up with actual discussions on different boards. /lit/ doesn't really discuss all literature in the same way /mu/ would music.
>>
>>93799714

/co/ - the proper board is mean so I'll come here and shit this one up.
