Damn, I didn't even know about this. Animated would have been dope, but after how well A Series of Unfortunate Events turned out I think they can make something suitably weird.

Half the comic's appeal was the art style, the atmosphere created within it.

While I concede that I said the same of the Hellboy adaptations, I have little faith in this based on its likely budget and the talent involved.
