The nicktoons used to be their answer to cartoon network's only cartoon programming. Now, it's a purgatory for shows of any kind, including live action, to live out its existent. Its also for new shows to air when they're not good enough to air on the main channels.

To me, this is what happens when the show has gone on too long that you need to make a new show, but it's too successful to put down, so you write a new main character and change up the entire premise. It's like FOP2 or something.

Maybe a less brainlet way of putting it is, she's shown people that although those characters had flaws, they added significant entertainment value and had chemistry with the main character.

Tootie for instance, may have been focused around being a girl who loved Timmy too much, but she could get angry or fed up with his shit, and Timmy hurting her would drive him to do things that made him appear less selfish. They tried this with Chloe a few times halfassedly, but most of the time Timmy just appears whiny and selfish with her, only submitting to appeal to her because "She's Chloe" rather than actually feeling bad for her or even having done anything wrong on his part.

Vicky was brought back for a major appearance for one episode and it really felt like they were just trying to overdo it with her being a villain. The >>93795327 axe murderer gags don't even feel like they have weight because we rarely see her in Timmy's life anyway. She exists now just to do evil shit and crack vain teenager jokes that were normally reserved for Trixie, she even dropped the "Tell me I'm pretty" line in one of those episodes. Then of course Chloe defeats her with the help of Foop, because the next generation Pokemon always needs to defeat Pikachu to show how kickass they are.

Those were the worst characters. Literally Dexter's Dad 2.0 and Le Screaming Fairy Meme Man. It's not a surprise the best season of the show, the pilot season, neither of these characters existed in any real capacity on the screen.

Trixie's main thing is she was there to be a plot device and unattainable love interest. She isn't really much different from Chloe other than being ignorant of the fairies. Timmy uses a wish to impress her or get close to her, causes chaos he has to fix, and she ends up rejecting him anyway. Chloe uses a wish to save the whales or whatever and it turns them into a destructive force somehow, cause chaos that she or Timmy have to fix, it's formulaic just for different reasons, they're both their to cause a catalyst for the plot to get rolling.
