That's it for today. Thanks for reading /co/!
Tomorrow I'll have another six issues of classic MAD for you, but until then goodbye and BUMP for others!
>>93797777
Isn't it great when you can't tell if the ads are meant to be a parody?
>>93792908
no joke I have my mom's copy of this stashed in my secret room.
don martin and snappy answers to stupid questions, along with the movie spoofs is what raised me as a child.
I first got into MAD when I was eight and my friend brought one of his dad's MAD paperback reprints of the original comics to school. Will Elder's drawings made a huge impression on me and I became obsessed with MAD and Elder, striving to track down all his work and as many MAD books, comics and magazines as I could find. I got some of the Russ Cochran reprints when I was 11-12 and my friends and I all liked the Will Elder strips best. I didn't even read some of the others, like Mark Trade and From Eternity to Here until a few years ago. I think one of the Super-Specials was the first issue I bought, but pic related is the first regular issue.

Serious ads. People were much cheesier back then
really biting "satire"
Today, OP was a cool fag, like Freddy Mercury.
maddening bump
>>93792908
This is art. thanks Op.
