What is your perfect canon?
Your personal opinion on how the events should have unfolded in your favorite(or formerly favorite) comicbook or comicbook universe as a whole?
Imagine story telling unmarred by unnecessary crossovers, company-wide events, and general wankery on part of the author.

Why the hate on crossovers. They existed before events. Hulk crossed over with warlock to give sone sense of shared universe.
If anything tie ins to events are harming sales. Sone of marvels first events had no tie ins or lil.
Then the 90's came and had events all the time.

Can marvel never doing civil war and the heroes continuing to act like they did before be my answer Mr OP?

Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows comes close to that
The Ultimate U ended with Cataclysm. Kitty failed in bringing down Galactus and he devoured the Earth
Perfect canon is where everybody suffers, not everyone are friends. But no one gives up and keeps fighting. The more they fight each other, the better.
