Have you ever triedd to learn how to make 3d cartoons?

The closest I've come is a couple shitty GMod videos.

Remember when the Ghibli 2D software got released for free some months ago? We got excited for maybe half a week.

3D is even more of a nightmare to learn on your own, specially using Blender

>fail literally every assignment
>see people who don't even like cartoons make works of art

I tried to animate once in a game, was kinda fun.

I animate for my own amusement. I have no talent and I have no ambitions, but I'd rather animate than play video games. After two years, I feel I'm finally beginning to understand how things move, but all that means is that I see more and more problems with my work.

Unless you're talented and hard working, you shouldn't do animation, especially if you care about it -- you'll be seriously disappointed.
