If Ashi didn't exist then wouldn't the entire scenario of them getting married be wiped altogether, along with any memories that they had of her?

Why did her wedding gown fall to the ground instead of simply not-existing in the first place since there was nobody to make them for?

It felt like the ending was just dramatic bullshit to make me feel bad for Jack, when it made me not care about the finale at all. Timeline shit makes me feel more retarded than I already am.
