Just watching it for comparison to Homecoming.
It doesn't shit on the character like Homecoming but man, it is SLOW as shit.
I don't know if is bad written or Andrew Garfield is really a bad actor.
Everything was all right at the begining but it take 30 minutes to explain the powers and 50 to get to the first action scene.
I like how every character looks, specialy Gwen. Any of you have watched it recently?

Martin Sheen's Uncle Ben was fantastic.

ASM1 gets a bad rap (just like SM1 and 2 get way too much nostalgia praise).
Maybe a little slow, but I feel like it worked fine.
Cranes and lizard fight stuff at the end (and Cap. Stacey dying) were kind of dumb.
Homecoming is far and away superior though.

Dipshit. Please respond. I like knowing I have that amount of power over you.
Chocolate milk killed the movie for me.

They kept Uncle Ben, but killed him off with this? One step forward, two major steps back. I didn't like Uncle Ben being killed by a carjacker, but I'd prefer that to what we got.

>died for chocolate milk
This was probably the worst part of the movie, particularly the way it was shot. It would have been better if they had skipped that and the movie had simply SHOWN flashbacks of Peter getting bitten, learning about his power (which was pertinent to this particular story they chose to tell) would have been better than to specifically rehash Uncle Ben's death.

>Andrew Garfield
Andrew Garfield is one of the only three actors to play Peter to be a multiple nominee, including being nominated for a Tony for his performance in Death of a Salesman.
