That's a pretty surface level assessment. The comic would have to be your first piece of fiction ever to not recognize the signs. Initially I was all "IT'S HAPPENING" until I fully realized that the inclusion of a dejected Goldballs will guarantee some kind of love triangle drama at the very least, which carries the possibility of Bomballs being endgame. Not okay.

Bendis WAS a good writer. His work in the late 90s and early 2000s is rightly praised. His USM run is rightly regarded as classic. Sure he got lazy in the 2000s, but that doesn't negate everything he did before.
