>Privleged kid who lets his friends down and destroys families
>The heroes

>Honest hardworking family man
>The villain

What did Marvel mean by this?
>>
How is it possible that every single new Marvel movie makes it even more obvious that Tony is the biggest villain of the MCU?
>>
>>93728183
They either hate Tony and they're trying their best to subtly make him look like a prick or they love him so they just hamfist him into everything, making him look like a prick because he's basically behind everything whether he meant to or not.
>>
>>93727938
Antagonist doesn't always equal villain, my dude.
>>
>>93728125
The only reason Vulture even became a villain is because Stark went around screwing over small business owners, instead of just subcontracting work to them and having a few supervisors make sure they weren't taking Alien tech.

It's fucked that Tony destroys places and then awards the department he controls the contracts to clean them up.
>>
>>93728408
>It's fucked that Tony destroys places and then awards the department he controls the contracts to clean them up.
Hence why Vulture did nothing wrong.
>>
>>93727938

It is funny because this is the second bird super villain he has played and third character that is based on a flying creature.
>>
Who would win, Vulture or Falcon?
>>
>>93728438
Plus the guys that Tony employed were assholes.

It's not "overextending" yourself if you have a signed contract. Apparently no compensation was even offered. Fuck Tony Stark. Vulture had a sense of honour and refused to turn on Peter because he saved his life. Tony would've turned Pete in if he was in the same position.
>>
>>93728278
i guess it was only a matter of time before movie iron man turned into comic iron man
>>
>>93728552
>Tony would've turned Pete in if he was in the same position.

Oh, not Tony. Happy maybe.
>>
>>93728551
Vulture.

Falcon is just a black dude in a wing pack, Vulture is decked out with shittons of alien tech based gear made by the Tinkerer.
>>
>>93728551
Vulture is still just a guy in a coat so he gets shot by anyone with half decent aim.
>>
He did try to straight up murder Spidey a few times.
>>
>>93728685
Only because Spidey aka a masked man picked a fight with him. If he didn't protect himself then who would provide for his family?
>>
>>93727938
He did plenty wrong, but he was not a "evil" for the sake of evil/some grand scheme or mustache twirling. He just wanted to make money and take care of his family. When he finally had the chance to kill Peter, he decided nah, I'm in this for the money. Not for getting blood on "my hands."

Honestly: if he flew under the radar for 8 fucking years, he really couldn't have done anything too high-profile. On the other hand, if he never really did, it could mean his group mostly targeted small shops and not the big corporations owned by the 1% that allegedly fucked him over.
>>
>>93728552
>Plus the guys that Tony employed were assholes.
Tony didn't employ them, the government did.

While is certainly seems dodgy that Tony might be getting paid to clean up, the important thing is that all that tech gets off the streets as soon as possible. Tony wasn't keeping it. The government was. The shit Toomes was doing was exactly the kind of shit they were trying to avoid. Just because Tony is a fucking dick and Toomes was a character you could be sympathetic to does not make him right.

Is Tony secretly Thanos' greatest weapon?

That house was expensive as fuck. That wasn't "providing" that was building a fortune. He decided that having that jag was worth putting bombs in the hands of criminals and worth tossing people into lakes while they were all tied up.

He's a bad guy.

The fact that you can entirely see where he's coming from and sympathize with the guy makes him a better villain. The best villains aren't cackling cartoonish ones. They're the ones who end up in a bad place because of circumstances.

Falcon's better a quick maneuvers and changing direction, Vulture's got way more power, is better at sustained flight and can hover for long periods. Falcon's wings are bulletproof, Vulture's are too and he can manipulate them as cutting objects with surprising dexterity. Falcon's wings don't have a power source that explodes if you point a microwave at it. Vulture definitely has the advantage in a close quarters fight with his knife wings and his hydraulic talons, but Falcon's easily the better actual hand to hand combatant. His Redwing drone also gives him something of an edge in a pinch.

I'd say Falcon's the still better flyer of the two but Vulture has a few more years experience with his own equipment than he does. I don't think Toomes was confirmed to be former Air Force but that was the impression I got from him going on about "fighting THEIR wars", a guy who was in Desert Storm or something as a pilot before he left the armed forces and became a construction worker.

Falcon's a Quinjet, Vulture's a Helicarrier basically. Whoever wins depends on the nature of the fight.

But he's old too. Of course they're not going to hire him. They could hire younger people instead and they'll demand less, because they don't have lots of experience. Besides it didn't look like they were hiring, since they were just told to fuck off.
>>
>>93730054
>>I'd say Falcon's the still better flyer of the two but Vulture has a few more years experience with his own equipment than he does

The movie only says that 8 years passed between Toomes losing the contract to clean up Chtauri tech and the airport battle of Civil War. For all we know, Vulture's only had his wingsuit for 2 of those years while they did R&D.

Meanwhile, afaik the movies occur in real time except for the obvious timeskips and montages, so Hulk happened in 2008, Avengers in 2012, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If that's the case, then Falcon has had at least two years as Falcon, between WS and CW, plus however many he had before that as a paratrooper

Anyway Vulture would win. He's just got more destructive output and more tricks. He could easily take advantage of Falcon's maneuverability to lure him into a box and trap him there like with Peter. Then he'd just disintegrate him.

He threatened Adrian. He was willing to let him walk, but Jackson didn't keep his mouth shut.

>remember when they were supposed to be seperating that stuff from the metal

And they were "supposed" to be doing this, why exactly?

Sorry if you think bubba beating chunks of space science with space sticks impresses you but the rest of the movie shows pretty convincingly that even eight years later that they don't know how to keep the shit from blowing everything else to fuck the second someone drops it. The reason that they managed to fly under the radar for so long probably implies that their previous customers accidentally teleported themselves to the phantom zone by leaving their space gun too close to their cell phone.

The point was to stick it the man. Especially the Avengers and Stark. He could have taken a few easy ways out but his pride wouldn't let him.

What if something like that was their plan for the S6 movie.
>>
>>93731899
That'd mean they can have good plans.

stop making shit up and getting away from the point. He was doing his job like they implied many other people were doing with the alien goods and got it all taken away by someone with a history of trying to help and making things worse

I assumed it was the thing the guys robbing the ATM used, it hold Spidey in the air

>Hot liberal aunt who lets him do whatever the fuck he wants
Bullshit. She clearly is worried sick about him & probably only gives him some freedom so he can get his mind off the Death of his uncle. Also, he is clearly uncomfortable about everyone having eyes for his only living relative.
>Gets handouts from a CEO
Who only has him around because of his powers. It took him a while to actually see Parker as a human being & it took Captain fucking America to shed that light on him.
>Goes to a private school
It's a public school you dolt.

Peters life only ever turns around after he gets bitten by the Spider, & even then, it's all downhill from there.

The "Car Jacker" and the store owner would agree.

>He was doing his job like they implied many other people were doing with the alien goods

..and we saw how he did it. He hit space science with space sticks and it's a miracle he didn't blow his whole crew to hell. The shit was a few x-rays from blowing up something the size of the slave built Washington monument. Eight years of tinkering with the shit and they started selling things that will cut a whole block in half if you drop it on the ground and they sell it to complete scum who a sensible man wouldn't trust with a pair of scissors.

>got it all taken away by someone with a history of trying to help and making things worse

And we saw what this guy could do when he didn't bother trying to help anyone at all.

Fuck it, we're all potential criminals here

BAIT

but good bait
>>
spiderman is 100% a menace
>racially profiled someone, beat him up, and stole his bike
>assaulted a guy trying to get into his own car
>the massive amounts of property damage from busting through peoples fences and scaring children

Those things were such fucking shit. They would have been much better off using WW2 prop planes. Same with their rifles; replace them with WW2 era rifles and you get much better results.
>>
>>93733401
I was fairly surprised there was never any menace talk.
Tony must've been shutting it down behind the scenes
>>
Makes me wonder why /co/ likes ANTIFA So much if they like to stick it to the man yet hate Vulture.

Tony is literally the only one the Sokovia Accords should have applied to.
Every single other Avenger were, in fact, the response to meta-human threats
>Cap is a response to Red Skull
>Loki fucked around with Thor but as his brother rather than as some super human
>Abomination was made as a response to Hulk but only because Hulk wasnt the weapon that the General wanted it to be.
>Cap Responds to Hydra in the 21st century
>Thor Responds to Dark World
>Dr Strange responds Kassilius
>GotG respond to Ronan
>Ego seeks out Quill, outside of his hero status (his hero status just makes him easier to find), GotG respond to Ego
>Avengers respond to attack in Africa in beginning of Civil War

Now lets list the actual situations where villains became villains or became active because of a hero
>Vulture responds to Tony Stark
>Iron Monger/Stane responds to Stark fucking around with Middle East (admittedly Stark was just responding to the roundabout assassination attempt
>Ultron is literally built by Stark without any input from the rest of the team
>Vision (who could have been a villain, for all anyone else knew) is the same as Ultron, 'except different'
>Whiplash literally becomes active due to Stark's grandstanding
>Yellowjacket responds to Pym

So let's see: that's 3/4 instances of hero-related villain genesis belonging to Stark
>>
>>93733601
Yeah, in the scene with the atm I thought the guy across the street was gonna go, "Oh shit! Spider-man is robbing those atms"
>>
>>93727938
It's called a Sympathetic villain, dumbass.

It's very good at making people more invested in the story, unless they're sociopaths or psychopaths.
>>
>>93727938
Jon Watts said we're likely to see Adrian again in the future. That is something I'm looking forward to.
>>
>>93727938
>"Yeah he was a thief and an arms dealer who tried to murder a child but he did it to help his family so he did nothing wrong."
He was a villain with noble intentions, but he was still a villain.
>>
>>93728183
>Implying they're not gonna kill him down the line as a big moment of redemption
>>
>>93734733
Nah, faggot. Sympathetic villains are only good at being an annoyance 99 percent of the time.
