There's a small rebuke to SJW-shit in the movie. Early on that fat jaguar called Judy cute (and she is of course cute; she is a cartoon bunny) and she gently chided him that only bunnies are allowed to call other bunnies cute, i.e. the racially-segregated control of speech that SJWs love. The idea isn't brought up again but it has thusly been introduced into this fantasy setting.

Later we get Nick who absolutely doesn't conform to this idea; because Judy is a rabbit he calls her "carrots", "fluff" and "cottontail". When they meet that sheep lady he's fascinated by her wool (a parallel to white people being fascinated by black people's hair?). When he sees wolves he predicts with annoyance that at least one of them will start howling (he's right). When he's in the farm cart later he remarks that he thought rabbits would only grow carrots (sounds like a microaggression!). He's constantly saying things based on others' species (i.e. race).

But who is it who has the problem taking people as they actually are instead of lazily relying on stereotypes? It's Judy, who doesn't trust Nick even after going through all kinds of shit with him. Her snooty SJW polite speech is meaningless because her character is flawed.

At the end of the film when friendship between the two is restored they play with the phrases "dumb bunny" and "sly fox" by reversing the adjectives. If calling bunnies cute is supposedly racist surely these phrases must be as well, but it's not a problem because the two friends are in control of the words, not the other way around.

Her polite speech and sensitivity isn't meaningless as "cute" is offensive and Clawhasuer is the type who doesn't want to offend even though he often does (the "eaten alive" comment at the end of the scene is probably very not PC). Then she helps her parents work with Gideon and he's a better person for it. He even helps her solve the case.
The lesson here is that "real life is messy" and racism isn't simple. At the end of the movie, Nick and Judy are comfortable enough to make racist jokes at each other, but I don't think Judy is going to start being less polite to everyone else.

She was a cop who worked hard to qualify and, having done so, got preferential treatment for being small and cute which earned her the resentment of her boss.
