Get jdownloader2 beta.
It does everything megadownloader does, and it works on other sites as well. Read what you click on, instead of mindlessly spamming Next when you install it.

It sounds like you're trying to mirror the file to your own (full) mega account instead of downloading it. Better doublecheck that.

I don't use mega frequently enough to notice a limit removal, but unless someone found a new way around the daily limit you'll just have to deal with it.
