It does seem unfair though. The two new heroes were akumatized in season 1, but the original two heroes will never to get to experience that. I'd love to see Marinette get corrupted. You know she's got a ton of negative emotions bottled up (especially toward Chloe) but being Ladybug and feeling "responsible" for her community as a result has kept those emotions in check. Adrien's got some repressed baggage as well. I'd love to see those two finally let it all out and call bullshit at the various problems in their lives. Adrien sort of did that in the Christmas Special. For like two minutes and it didn't really go anywhere. But even if the execution was shit the idea was pretty good.

I want to see Marinette get angry. We see her get briefly angry and frustrated for humorous effect, but I want to see her explode. At Chloe.

That's not really the point. The point is we got to see what they were like when akumatized. It's about exploring the characters' dark sides. Hell, we're not even sure if Miraculous protect you from being akumatized. It seems that way, but it hasn't really been confirmed either way.

The real question is: When will they finally fug?
