If you're watching for plot, you're going to have a bad time, but you still need to watch most of the episodes to fully understand what's going on.

Her flaunt part of her character and being without morals was part of her character for her first two episodes. It wasn't until It Came From the Nightosphere that she began being fleshed out. I criticize you because you just announce that she is uninteresting as if it were fact, instead of sharing that it's just what you think.

The only Fionna and Cake episode I disliked was "The Prince Who Wanted Everything." For one LSP is in it which means it automatically is shit, and Fionna and Cake feel so out of character. They act so lifeless and have blank expressions for most of the episode. I actually liked Five Short Tables because Fionna and Cake actually have personality again, and the episode can be entertaining. The only gripes I had with that episode would be that Hannibal Buress did a very shitty job of voicing Flame Prince and that the LSP and Marshall Lee scene dragged out for too long.

If these remaining episodes are good, Season 8 will be the most consistent season ever. I don't think there's been a single bad episode so far. Even Horse and Ball was alright. It really is remarkable that this show can have this kind of consistency and variety 8 seasons in.

I'm still so pleased that I've liked season 8 so much, 7 was great imo and 8 has been even better. I guess having so many miniseries helps with hype but even then, only Horse and Ball and the Fern episodes were on the weaker side to me, everything else I either liked or loved. Real nice feeling, hope they don't fuck it up.
