Sam Raimi is such a good director he makes Tobey the best SM.

Its hard to remove Sam Raimi from the equation and judge them by themselves when what we see is clearly influenced by how the directors created the movie.

Maybe if Homecoming wasnt a Pascal/Disney Marketing Committee venture, I could have a better appreciation of Holland.

But as it is right now Ill even take Spider-turd 3 over the amazing shitfest and Homocomming

Holland is the one that looks the best visually both as Peter and Spider-Man, but Tobey's the only one that ever was in a genuinely good Spider-Man movie. Garfield, just like his namesake, has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

I think I actually liked Garfield best, though ASM2 is obscenely awful and the one before it just alright. Of course Tobey had the best movies. Tom is... cute and it makes sense for Spidey to be a little guy, but I'm still feeling sorely disappointed by Homecoming so maybe I can't judge fairly. None of them did a bad job in my opinion, regardless of the material they had to work with.

Peter Parker falls in love with Gwen Stacy.

Unable to confess, the wall crawler is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when the spider-based superhero recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of the MARVEL MULTIVERSE.
