Thoughts on The Head? Watching it for the first time right now.
I started watching it recently too. I'm like four episodes in and it's just 'ehh'. Nothing about it particularly captivating, and it lacks the edge of other MTV shows.
The 'one with the blade' joke caught me off guard though, fucking hilarious

Yeah, other than a few lines, it doesn't seem particularly MTV-esque. Hell, change them and it could probably easily air on Fox Kids.
Still, I'm enjoying it. Its got a weird charm to it.

Actually I take that back, the grotesque elements are pretty MTV-ish. And probably the reason I still watch it.
I kind of like how deadpan it is too.
One of my favorite cartoons back in the 90s
It's a shame it didn't last longer than it did, but it seemed to lose direction after the initial serial.
That's not to say that the second season episodes sucked, I really liked the one where Racquel was marrying the two-headed man who was really an alien, and the one with Roy's brother was prob my fav of the whole series. But I think it would have benefited more from continuing to tell a continuous story rather than switching over to stand alone eps with no continuity
And Gork should have been a recurring antagonist even after the first season

I wonder if it was just to break things up. Like, if it had gotten one more season, if they would've had a story again. Feels like it could've been a good idea, giving some down time between longer stories.

I liked it, the comedy was ahead of its time

>aHEAD of its time

Well, there was a comic.
>tfw to intelligent

I haven't watched season 2 but I'd imagine it was to flesh out the rest of the group since half of them barely did anything in the first seasonI was emotional moved at the scene where Ray discovers that the lawnmower was faulty

Oh huh, nice. Was it any good?

Been a while since I read it, but it has some wacky moments. Jim acquires a new ability to transform his head into weapons.

Never followed it fully but any image of it is enough to bring me a shitload of nostalgia for Locomotion.
I should've made more scans.
>>93687641
Huh, nice. The artwork is better than the show ever looked, that's for sure.
Was actually just about to give this a rewatch

>Dr Elliot escaped the brain parasites and has clone children
Holy shit! I might have to try and find this comic.
Also watched The Maxx recently and absolutely loved it. Kinda blows my mind that it was on MTV.
