Also recommend me some non superhero comics.

It's shit lol
Watchmen and Wildcats 3.0
>>93685261
It is bad. It is too much "look how progressive we are". I stopped reading with the issue when for some strange reason they had the need to make a cyclops or a giant and there was a lot of effort drawing his unwashed cock and balls.
Only interesting character was a Lying Cat.
>>93685261
Started out promising. Now it just sort of meanders and it's not clear what the goal is.
Also, what's up with all the "what does /co/ think of Saga?" threads lately? There's been like one a day.
>>93685696
>"look how progressive we are"
Disagree and I hate SJW as any other 4channer.
I would even say that the family in Saga is quite traditional.
>>93685261
It was ok, but it sorta wandered off and I stopped caring. I'll probably go back and read it when and if it's done.
If you enjoyed (the beginning of) Saga, give Infintie Vacation a look. Cute little sci-fi romcom thing from Image. If you haven't read Y: the Last Man, it's a much better offering from Vaughn.
Unrelated, but if you want some animals goin' on adventures, give Pride of Baghdad -- also Vaughn -- Beasts of Burden, or We3 a look.
And as long as I'm just recommending shit in the dark: read Sandman, Lucifer and Books of Magic. Books of Magic you'll likely need to pirate, since DC still hasn't released a completed set of trades.
fucking trash, unless you like dragon cock sucking, because you'll get 1 spread of that.

Wildcats 3.0 is really fucking shit. That last arc is just ZzZzZzZzZzZz
>>93685261
I like it. Most people in general hate stories about parents raising their children. The whole science fiction and fantasy aspects are, for the most part, incidental and only serve as plot devices.
Haven't read an issue of Saga I didn't like.
Injection by Warren Ellis.
Grandville by Bryan Talbot
Ignition City by Warren Ellis
FreakAngels by Warren Ellis
The Invisibles by Grant Morrison
Caliban by Garth Ennis

Scalped, its about a bunch of drugged up Injuns on the rez and at the casino. I only stopped reading it because the tpbs quality is shit and the last book I read fell apart. I'm just going to pirate the rest

>Saga
>Not about heroic men fighting to preserve their life and honor in Medieval Iceland
False advertising
>>93686650
Bryan Talbot is one of the greatest comics writers to ever live
Grandville isn't as good as his older work, but it's still decent
Also Alan Moore really liked a furry porn comic called Omaha the Cat Dancer.
>>93685261
Saga fucking sucks, literally the comic equivalent to young adult fiction.
Read stuff from Fanta.

5/10; generally disappointing, but not terrible
Get you some Hellboy
Get you some Goon
It's starts out cool but then it looses focus and keeps going.
and going.
and going.
and going.
And at a certain point you realize the writers have no idea what they're doing and they probably had no idea from the start.
Its ok, i only got volume 1 of Saga atm.
Get Extremity and Paper Girls.
since I haven't seen anyone recommend paper girls on this web as of yet, I recommend Paper girls. It's nothing too amazing but I like it so far, though you start to get a sense of prepubescent lesbians vibes after like issue 11. I see it as a sorta, kinda, coming of age story with time travel thrown into the mix for fun. I hope you enjoy it.
>>93686001
>Books of Magic
That comic went to shit after Gaimans four issues. Future Tim is lame. The romance is boring. And that Oliver Twist in the modern day with robots story was crap.

this OP
The quality of Saga is directly proportional to how often Prince Robot appears.
That being said, it should have been an anthology comic with different stories being told from the povs of people that meet Hazel, because Alana and Marko are terrible protagonists and completely unlikeable.
>>93685261
excelent comic, behind the romeo and juliet space opera it really get the spirit of being a young parent on an uncaring world.
for recomendatión of non hero comics i really really recomend you SILLAGE
>>93688414
>The quality of Saga is directly proportional to how often Prince Robot appears.
I love Saga, but I second this. His story is a lot more tragic and his character design is a lot more interesting. I read his voice like a British aristocrat talking through a walkie talkie. I don't know about the anthology part. The gay reporters chapter seemed like a waste of time that didn't lead anywhere.

That's probably the most awful series I've read this year.
Image is a mistake.

>The gay reporters chapter seemed like a waste of time that didn't lead anywhere.
I assume that their story will pay off when Squire and Gus appear again, since they're effectively trapped in the honeymoon planet.
>>93685261
Read some comix shit like Dungeon Quest or Prison Pit.
It never went anywhere! It keeps looking like it's going somewhere, and it never does! The comic is probably going to end with Hazel dying unceremoniously of old age accomplishing nothing.
>>93685261
I skimmed it to see all the dicks. From what I say, it's okay/10
If you want other non-cape books, I suggest reading Alan Moore's Providence. It also has dicks and gay sex.
