Is Brainiac a cheap/overpowered villain?

In Injustice, yes.
Usually, no.

What makes his Injustice incarnation cheaper/more overpowered than his usual ones? He's an immortal supergenius with a cyborg/robot body that's as strong as Superman and advanced tech including an army of flying brick robots and force-fields that not even Superman can breach., and he can pretty much respawn infinitely.
In the DCAU he was so overpowered that he actually forced Superman and Darkseid to team up to beat him.

Because his boss form in game is cancer with unblocbakle tentacle rape that takes off half your health bar.
I like his powers in injustice

he's just overused

he has yet to show up in any film adaptation tho.
So far it's just Luthor, Zod, OC, Luthor, Luthor, Zod, Luthor, Mega-Zod.
Well there was that story that basically revealed him to be an immortal being that exists outside of time and space and has remained the same while every other character has been retconned over the various universes. And that other story where all of his previous defeats were retconned into just being a bunch of remote-controlled drones (apparently he has an entire army of Superman-tier robots just sitting in his garage).
>Old man head and voice on a buff cyborg body.
Pretty meh design. would be more suitable if his was frail looking and had the tentacles and drones doing most the combat.
Can't stop hearing Scarecrow when he talks

>Jeffrey Combs
It's a good voice but not for Brainiac, I would've switched his and Dr. Fate's VAs
