The eyes are the worst. The bottom panels are too distracting. I keep looking at them and not the rubber chicken which is intended to be the focal point of the frame. Honestly just color the rest of Spidey's suit black, give him long ears and you get the Bat-Glare

Well you gotta realize, what Marvel management says and what Marvel writers do aren't always in sync.
Some writers are more than happy to poke fun at Marvel. Hell, it almost feels like a necessity for a Deadpool writer
