This is probably my favorite issue of the run now. Will Conrad/Ivan Nunes are on another fucking level with that art. Story was great too.

IDW has the Transformers license - most of the cross-overs have been with Loony Tunes (which WB owns, just like they own DC) and Hanna Barbra (which again DC has the license for and has a history with).

The rare cross-over has been with Star Trek (which has been done with the Legion and with the Lanterns - twice now; part of that has to do with some writers being shared on the current (2010 onward) Trek books who also work and/or have worked since 2000 on, with DC. Plus Trek has always done all sorts of cross-overs (Dr. Who, as one example).

Planet of the Apes is a Boom thing, and the Shadow is Dynamite, so DC is certainly willing to do it but I don't see why they would bother with Transformers, they already have their own mecha versions of the League.

I'm glad we're finally getting them (I remember the initial tease in the Rebirth issue I think) but I wish they weren't evil alternate universe versions.

Ninja Turtles was a one-off popularity thing.

IDW doesn't actually control the licenses in the sense that they can do whatever they want. They also have the license for Disney and it doesn't mean they could pair up Uncle Scrooge with Ollie in a 99% story, for example.

The sequel came out and is already finished. There is absolutely no reason to believe a Transformers crossover isn't possible when IDW has done multiple crossovers with DC already.

I just hope it's nothing boring like the JL or Batman, but the Titans or the Superman family.

Vic was about to get into college for the Shazam! backups from the 2011 Justice League books. The whole argument with his father was that scouts were there and wanted to offer him a scholarship and Silas said he could pay for Vic's college. He's gotta be about 23 to 25 at the youngest now.
