a bit of both. work on one until you hit a mental roadblock then work on the other. Not even Tolkien came up with a world history and whatnot before writing The Hobbit

I can't draw, so they're sitting in My Documents looking crisp. Sometimes I read them in between making more of them. It's like my own personal comics library where the pictures exist only in my head.

You're absolutely right. It's only an idea and I'm just an idea guy until I do something about it. That something, however, wouldn't change the fact that I'm not an artist, so writing is the only thing I could do.

My storyboard is finished and I started on the sketches a month ago. Sadly, work and work related traveling really stump my progress. I can only really get to my comic at two or three weekends every month.

Luckily, this comic is the first one where I don't get tired of picking it up after a while. It's more style over substance and panel experimentation and a more symbolic story, which is good if you tire of plot devices quickly and lose interest in your work.

I'm too lazy to make a graphic novel i just write down and revise concepts of the scifi world I've been building over the years and drawing characters but I keep changing things or recreating concepts so nothing ever really goes anywhere.

Its an Avatar fancomic that explores the idea of an sexually assertive Korra using both Mako and Bolin as her fukbois whose sole purpose is to DP Korra every night

Finished three pitch documents and sent them to a local publisher that I met at a convention a month ago. They re just getting started so the pay is gonna be peanuts, but if all goes well I should at least have something to show for it.
