Stopped watching Venture Bros around season.. 3 or 4. I dunno, this was around the time Dean worked for that one company in NYC and Hank got laid.

Honestly it seemed in earlier seasons the 'plot' was going somewhere, but there was never really any fulfilling character arcs. It seemed all based on super meta-in-jokes for humor later on and honestly the characters rambled making no points and blegh.

Also its just really depressing in a way.. I stopped caring about the characters.

That's my problem with Dean, to be honest. None of his character arcs have been fulfilling. He had potential during season 5, but they ignored him most of the time, and swept his rebelliousness under the rug. His university plot doesn't really have much importance, it just seems like a way to keep him out of the story.

He's still my favorite character, but they have no idea what to do with him.

I'm still hoping he has some nanobots in him, so he could become a part-time sidekick to Brown Widow. He'll come to hate it after a while, quit to have the normal life he always wants, but continues to abuse his nanobot intelligence.

The Monarch, 21, Fake Bowie and Jonas Jr had an arc. Both of the Venture Bros and Rusty are going through an arc right now.
