Hush now Rex is /ourguy/ and alright I'll bite your bait and give you some insight to that armor of his.Blue signifies his role as an ARC trooper,the tally marks are self explanatory and the shoulderplate signifies that he is a captain,those two markings on his helmet is called jaig eyes,a very hay symbol of honour.Pretty much a medal of honour.And now all the beaten up and stained part is obviously battle scarred just like him.That shows how seasoned he is,hence newbie clones are nicknamed shinies since they haven't seen proper combat yet their armours are shiny.I hope this answers your question
