Finn beating up this guy from The Enchiridion is the only time Adventure Time ever had legit blood from what I remember. I guess censors were cool with it because it was a literal heart like Spongebob in your image OP.

There was that part in Gravity Falls where Dipper bleed which is pretty impressive, especially for Disney. Wonder how Hirsch got away with it.
