Yeah, but it was less of a critique and more of a "haha how quirky, we poke fun at our fans" kind of situation. The biggest issue with this episode, much like the worst episodes of SU, is that it once again takes a situation where Stevie Wonder is right for being angry and expressing it towards the perpetrator, but paints him in the wrong, at least in his mind. Ronaldo was being a dick the whole episode, but then acts like he's the victim when he and Stevie have their falling out. The situation is resolved with him barely acknowledging any wrongdoing on his part, leaving Stevie with no adequate lesson learned and once again shying away from the constant issue of proper confrontation. This is incredibly similar to pretty much every Sadie episode that involves Lars or her mom, except those episodes at least offer some reason to empathize with her, as little as there may be. Ronaldo is just a fucking ass in this one and basically gets away with it.

mary sues can have serious character flaws. if anything, having these flaws can actually boost your sue status depending on how other characters react to these flaws. look at korra for instance. she's a stupid hardheaded cunt who blames other people for her problems and is never called out on it and everyone loves her and hands her everything she wants. normally the stupid hardheaded cunt thing would be a problem, but it doesn't get in her way. it's not detrimental and only serves to show what an author favorite mary sue she is. i haven't seen rick and morty so i can't speak for rick's case, but yeah, sues can have character flaws.

That was only an issue with their .40s&w models, and even then it was because idiots were using hand loads that had way too fucking much powder in them (essentially .40s&w +p+, more or less 10mm-tier).

Rick is this. He never once got into a troubling situation, that he didn't have an escape plan for. The first episode of season 3 is the point where everyone is unncessarily split on "Rick's not gonna come back" and "he's gonna be back soon."

It subverts everything about these types of episodes, where it actually confronts the topic and paints both sides as selfish considering whether or not Sextina would abort would be taken advantage of by her publicist either way to make her more famous and the conservatives/ Anti abortion laws were there to push there agenda in more manipulative ways, guilting and take advantage of emotionally insecure people.

Diane was in the wrong multiple times, giving abortion too much respect and not poking fun at it was making it more taboo for people that are unsure or confused. She also took advantage of the message for the sake of her own job using Aquafina as a mouth piece for her own beliefs manipulating the situation for her own interests,
Diane isn't always in the right, her message was twisted into the music video and Sextina keeping her baby despite having every reason too meant this was all superficial to her and her decision couldn't be Diane or anyone else.

Eliza losing her powers because of poachers who disguised themselves as zoologist. And the zoologist revealing themselves as the poachers of this movie and almost planed to murder Debbie. That is an act of being a fraud here.
