It was fucking glorious. A classic story when Spider-Man was really good.

Basically Peter decides that he puts his loved ones at risk by not being Spider-Man enough, so in the story he never takes off his costume to act as a civilian.

I can't remember that one in particular. was it where he was all 'there is no Parker there is only the Spider, hurr I'm grimdark and emo before it's cool'? Because his evil robot parents just kicked the bucket? 'Cause I hated that story and everything that came after it. Peter never really recovered from that character decay until after the Clone Saga. He was ruined as a character for like 5 years. Peter lost his sense of humour and took years to get it back. It was just a terrible time for the book.

But if it's not the story I'm thinking of then never mind, eh!
