You misunderstand Harold's purpose. Harold was Angelica's Johnathan, Anon. He was meant to exist strictly as a lackey, a goon, an incompetent mole she could use and throw away at will. He'd be lucky to get stepped on with disgust by someone else in Angelica's shoes, let alone friend zoned. Harold never had a chance, because he may as well have never even been there. I'm amazed they had Angelica remember his name.
