I personally love Red because I feel like he is more computer than person which makes his struggles to find his humanity more complex, but I feel like Vision has more intriguing stories, as well as a stronger powerset.
Anyone have reading recommendations for either?

The Metal Men are better than both.

Good, but Victor Mancha is better.

Red Tornado had the decent sense to adopt a kid, so he's one up on Vision there. Also he's an alien tornado merged with a robot, so he has that going for him. Though he did become the Air Elemental of Earth and consider killing everyone. Vision rarely tried to wipe out all humans.

Vision has had better stories and more chances to develop his character. That being said, I personally find Red Tornado far more interesting. I wish more heroes/villains had wind-based powers.
Usually wind powers get sort of rolled together into general "weather control" people, but I'd love to see some more creative uses of wind/air manipulation in comics.
Has Red Tornado shown up in Rebirth yet?

This. Doc Magnus has managed to create several robots just as neurotic and flawed as humans.

Doc Magnus's entire life is the "No Way Fag" meme mixed with a 90's sitcom.

>Red Tornado had the decent sense to adopt a kid, so he's one up on Vision there.
Red Tornado had a more mundane, grounded personal life than Vision. He didn't marry the DC Best Girl, and have magic babies, he married a civilian and adopted. It might have worked out better for him, but Vision reached for more than that, soared higher, and burned brighter.
Red Tornado has suffered through "he's just a robot, we can destroy him to add drama to the story, and rebuild him later" for a lot longer than Vision did.
Are we not going to talk about the true /bestboy/ when it comes to big two robots?

I own this comic. Still one of my favourite JLA stories.
