so why is this the best version of sonic while other cartoons do such a bad job?

I loved the OVA, but muh classic designs & muh Sonic/Tails/Knuckles only had jack shit to do with it. It was just a very fun Sonic film that didn't have a lot of the stuff that made Underground or X bad.
