Ah, but see, there's the trick: the cover is misleading. Think about it. If the only caveat of "Ernest Doesn't Go To The Beach" is that he doesn't go to the beach, then he could wind up going literally ANYWHERE. For all you know the climax of EDGTTB is Ernest going to the fucking moon to fight moon rabbit Nazis. In Ernest Goes To The Beach, you know exactly what you're getting. But in the other, you could get literally ANYTHING other than him going to the beach.

The choice here is clear if you actually take a moment to think about it.

I think you should consider the possibility that he has to eventually return from the beach, therefore one could argue that a two-for-one deal could occur by going with Ernest goes to the beach leaving literally unlimited possibilities as to what he does after that. However "Ernest doesn't go the beach" leaves you without your beach-front content and could otherwise remain the same.
