It's a damned shame; just before New52 there had been a genuinely excellent series with a similar lineup of characters which this incarnation of JLI plainly intended to ride the coattails of, but whereas Generation Lost was imaginative and fun and had all sorts of pathos, Jurgens's JLI was... just bland, generic, unexamined 1990s-y garbage.
