Picture this scenario. A super hero group in decline because the new batch of heroes have brought more harm to the city than good and don't do any real hero work. So a bunch of pranksters have had enough of them and decided to troll them. Their little prank however turned said hero team into all out villains and they start terrorizing the town looking for the trolls.

Sounds pretty similar to Kingdom Come, esp. if the old heroes come out of retirement to take it to the newbies and end up making things worse.
