Well there are a lot of reasons anon lets get into them:
1) Historicity- This is the first and probably biggest reason we don't get Wonderbat. People think that current writers owe something to a characters OG love interest even if they are lame as fuck, So it was in the beginning so it most be now, why? because reasons. If all real arguments fall just bring up how Catwoman/Steve was meant to be with Bruce/Diana which make no real sense and quite frankly if that is your argument you have already lost just like anti industrialists.

2)Misinformation- Not a big problem but one none the less, a lot of people have no fucking idea what they are talking about, I know shocking! From the Bruce is a bad person meme to Diana doesn't have anything in common with Batman meme. People just say things and ironically enough most people don't know a lot about the characters in question except the bare minimum and whatever they hear or see online.

Trinity shipping is wrong. I know people say Wonderbat is better than WW x Superman but just because it's better doesn't mean it's the best thing for either character.

This entire issue is the reason I ship Bruce and Diana; it humanizes Batman instead of the grimdark character the nolan movies/Frank Miller TDKR have influenced his current character to be.
