Is this the only hard /co/ video game?
>>
Sega Alladin.

Nuff said.
>>
Genesis Batman&Robin was incredibly difficult (and long).

Amazing soundtrack, though.
>>
>>93521314
Fucking carpet ride REEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
>>
>>93521699
I never beat that level. Never.
>>
I was never ever to beat the Sega version of Toy Story. Or Mickey Mania for that matter. I owned more games I couldn't beat than could actually.
>>
>>93521314
>those instant-kill boulders in the Cave of Wonders
Whoever came up with that fucking bullshit should be shot.
>>
>>93521301
I had that game for the Sega Genesis. I could beat the game entirely on Hard Mode.

The only hard thing I found about the game was trying to mash the right button combination to flip Scar. The rest was easy with time and patience.
>>
>>93521301
Nigga, I beat the lion king, It wasn't easy that's for sure, BUT it has nothing on the king of bullshit /co/ vidya that is the toy story snes game.
Holy shit, it's cryptic, it's hard and no matter how hard I tried I always ran out of lives, to this day I don't even know what the last level looked like, the fartest I ever got was sid's room and fuck even that was hard as nails.
>>
There was this Simpsons game I had on Genesis where Bart had these X-Ray glasses which let him see some townspeople were aliens in disguise.
Most of the game wasn't too hard, but then in the fourth act at the nuclear power plant there was a specific jump I just could not do. So I would burn through all my lives there, and would have to begin again from stage one. Hours wasted.

Never had too much trouble with Lion King, though I swear the PC version was bugged or I had shareware or something. I couldn't get past the watering hole bit until I got it on Genesis.
>>
>>93521747
They recycled those one-hit kill boulders in Lion King, too.

Disney video games are sadistic.
>>
>>93521301
Silver Surfer on NES
>>
>>93521314
>>93521699
So which version was better?
>>
>>93521904
Snes because of the music.

>>
Haven't played it since I was a lad but remember it being hard as hell.

There's a shit ton of hard /co/ games

>>
>>93521724

lol I beat it at 6. Download it and try again. it's not so hard
>>
>ITT: I've never played Superman 64

I forgive all of you
>>
I remember Maximum Carnage being difficult as a kid.
>>
>>93521301
That's a walk in the park except for the second stage which is frustrating as hell. The Genesis version has a slightly higher resolution and slightly crisper controls but it's still an exercise in patience to beat the second level.
>>
>>93522619

Games that barely work don't count

*Comix Zone

And yes, this game is hard as fucking fuck. Still can barely get into it without overly using save states/etc. on a emulator.

when the claw picks up Buzz, swing the aliens and swing em up.

I usually wait til the Claw is on the far left during the first pick up, so it takes longer for it to reach Buzz and attempts to take him forward.

OH look, cropped furry porn.

I'm going to spend a 9 year whine fest about this!

Haha, just kidding. Could you imagine being such a faggot?

Better graphics, better level design and bigger variety of levels more closely related to the movie, better game feel overall, better music. SNES version is so much better there's no comparison there.
>>
>>93522690
I beat Separation Anxiety, but I for some reason could never beat that.

Earthworm Jim
Taz Escape from Mars
I couldn't figure out that Beavis & Butthead game for the life of me
>>
I'm surrounded by underage b&
>>
Which of these games were better:

The Simpsons Hit & Run or The Simpsons Game (2007)?

We all know The Simpsons Arcade was superior though.
>>
>>93524616
>Earthworm Jim
Fuck that underwater stage.
What is it with games and shitty underwater mazes of death
>>
>>93524706
I spent hours in Hit & Run just fucking around.
Honestly, I like it better than the game it was trying to emulate, GTA 3. The humor is on point, the maps were fun, etc. The only thing is that some of the missions were complete ass.
The Simpsons game isn't that memorable to me outside of the Video Game world, and the level where you fight Bender and Zoidberg in Matt Groening's mansion. It was still good though. I should get it again.
Hell, even Road Rage is pretty fun. Sure it's a Crazy Taxi knockoff, but if expanded the idea by having multiple maps and characters. Plus, Crazy Taxi really should have fucking had a free-drive mode.
>>
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure
I refuse to believe anyone can get past the Elmyra boss.
It's like they said "Hey people love the bike sections in Battletoads right? Let's make that but worse!"

So many Sega Genesis games were unreasonably difficult. Sonic 2, Streets of Rage 3, Comix Zone, Lion King, Ecco the Fucking Dolphin... I still can't beat many of these games as an adult.
>>
>>93525158 is bullshit, but fun bullshit. There is a chance, however slight, of winning.
But this >>93525135? That's just proof the devil wants humanity to suffer.

>>
>>93522384
If you're able to get mini-games you excel at consistently, it should be possible, but takes luck.
Homer Kong mini was always an instant win.
>>93521301
Supposedly the Ahhh Real Monsters game is not even playable.

Apples and oranges. They play nothing alike, so comparing them is a battle of opinions.
>>
>>93521301
I'm the only person I know who've beaten the game. And even then, I've used a bug to get through level 3 so I don't have to jump on the logs.
>>
>>93523703
This one is easy, actually. I would say it's the easiest one of NES Turtles.
>>
This fucking game. Some of the levels are alright, but you have one that you either need to memorize it as you fuck up or have a guide to it or else you just die for going the wrong way. Then there is the fucking baby level. Never been able to do it legitimately.
>>
>>93523037
>shit in the umbilical cord too
>>
Three words. Super. Man. 64
>>
I never had a chance to play it extensively because my cousin owned it and I could only play it when my family visited them, but I remember this game being literally unbeatable in certain points if you didn't know what you were doing and wasted an item at the wrong spot. I never managed to finish it.
>>
>>93521904
Anyone who says Sega is someone you don't need in your life. That version plays like absolute trash.
>>
>>93525005
>>93524667
I know Earthworm Jim started as a game, but did Battletoads start as a cartoon and then become a game? Does that count?

Anyway... I hear Silver Surfer for NES is pretty difficult.
