Production on this show is basically over. Nickelodeon shoved it to the side and sent it to die on Nicktoons. C.H Greenblatt is most recognizable for his zany wacky humor, which he got to show off in Billy & Mandy and go totally nuts with in Chowder. Harvey Beaks was him attempting to make a calmer, more slice-of-life type show, but he completely missed the mark. The show just wasn't funny and the characters is presented were just milktoast and boring as shit. Harvey was pretty much the only remotely interesting guy, good thing he was the main.
I also really feel like the specific writing crew Greenblatt brought on was totally subpar. No one in that damn town knows their way around a joke anymore.
Here's hoping his next show isn't a dud.

This, honestly. I enjoy Harvey Beaks, but it isn't always consistent with the quality of its humor. C.H. Greenblatt's stronghold is his comedic chops when he's not holding back.

Full disagree.
Harvey Beaks was a wonderful show, with nice, realistically written kid characters with big imaginations. The art was great too.
I am appalled at how Nick treated CH and this show. Never advertising or promoting it...it's all so strange to me, things could have been fine.
I'll miss it, and my heart breaks for the crew.

Wrong. Harvey Beaks was a fantastic example of SoL and Carl's best work yet. The cast was unique, the art direction was on point and the music was outstanding. And anyone who's actually watched it will agree that it's got a much more consistent quality to it, unlike Chowder which people are much quicker to praise.
The only problem was that it couldn't keep the attention of spastic children.
