I never really liked the criticism of "wasted potential" since just about any idea or piece of fiction has potential to be done well with the right execution and skill, but fuck it.

When her reveal happened I was exited because I hoped that not only would she be part of the main gang but shapshifting in itself is a cool power that could be used for all sorts of jokes and shenanigans. I was hoping she'd go full Warden from Superjail and just start shifting to all sorts of stuff as a means to express emotions. Entire plots revolved around this like maybe she decided to become Gumball for a day or she gets jealous over Tina and fights her as a dragon. None of that happened and their creativity with her has never gone beyond "That chick Gumball likes".

All the characters from Steven Universe could be a million times better if every second of the show wasn't restricted to being from Steven's POV. In a show that's supposed to be about all of the characters overcoming their issues and growing in relationships with each other, them only getting the oppurtunity to be developed while Steven is standing right next to them is retarded. It forces all conflict to coincidentally happen in Steven's proximity 100% of the time and we can never see what they are doing or how they act when they aren't influenced by Steven's presence. What makes everything having to be from Steven's POV worse is that he's a retard.

No she wasn't. I don't hate her as much as others do but the show tried to make her more important then she really was and had zero development in the end.

This is technically true, however introducing halfway the season then not use him for the second half until the very end was a poor decision and he either should've shown up far later or used the second half to develop him more.

She was an extremely important character, only slightly beaten by Dipper in that regard and nobody else. I'm also not sure what "development" you were looking for.

Ford didn't appear in only one episode after his introduction, so again I'm not sure what you mean there.

She could be so much more, i can think tons of scenario if they keep her a smol evil-based sister LONGER. She could be the opposite of Steven, she could be that one friend who thinks violence and force is the only answer and wreck them with her machinery.
