Jack Cole. On top of creating the great Plastic Man, he painted great cartoons for Playboy back in its heyday. Sadly he killed himself, presumably because of problems with his wife as he was presumed to be unable to have children.

Matt Frank seems like a bro. I saw him at a convention and he was actually engaging with the people who came up to his table, it's depressing when people without lines just want you to pay and move on.

Mike Allred is also super nice, he doesn't do sketches or commissions at cons because he doesn't like spending the time with his head down drawing, he wants to meet people.

Carlos Pacheco, in particular his artwork in JSA/JLA Virtue And Vice and Superman/Batman,there's just something smooth and aesthetically pleasing about it

I also like Dustin Nguyen, mainly because it is a change and US comics artists tend to produce alike work.

Adrian Alphona sucks me into every world he draws, especially with a great colorist.

Sara Pichelli and Nick Bradshaw are also favorites of mine, even though the latter falls into same face territory.
