it's impossible.
reading these comics, it's impossible to think of these characters as as anything more than tokens anymore. And I don't mean just the negro pallet swaps, I mean all of these Titans from Raven and Starfire all down the line... all of these stories with these characters read like a troupe of half-ass cosplayers acting out a fan-scripted, fan-made YouTube published LARP session set in a 15 year old's Injustice-inspired headcanon.
Every page of this I'm just reading feeling like I'm passing time until the next big Warner Animation OVA or CW tv series is released and establishes a new status quo that will set the stage for the next wave of reboots and #1s that all fall in line with "muh synergy".

There's just no impact to any of this shit anymore. These characters are all going to be about as relevant as Flamebird and Golden Eagle ever were.

Now we have two characters with the same name, same power set and same familial relationship with other characters, with the only thing distinguishing them on a first sight is their color

I liked the Young Justice Kaldur'ahm more than Jackson Hyde. I know they are basically the same person here but his personally was way better, more straight forward and more.... straight. They should habe made Black KF gay instead of Jackson.

Of the four "proper" Robins, Tim is my least favourite as a character. Black Wally carries the stigma of being a blatant forced diversity replacement of a character with a lot of history and fans. The original Wally was "The Flash" for 30 years.

Jackson isn't "replacing" Garth, he's a completely different character, and even if he was, a lot fewer people care about Garth than Wally. Plus he's being given the benefit of the doubt by people who like Young Justice Aqualad.
