Since they did Multiplicity and since Jon is well-aware of the multiverse from the Dino Island two-parter, it would be kinda nice if he had an experience with pre-Flashpoint Kon-El and Chris. However, I'm not sure there is a 'source' that will say Gary Frank is not longer doing covers for DC because he's working on Doomsday Clock. However, he's definitely WORKING on Doomsday Clock, just do a browser search - when The Cereal King did his PR blitz about it, it was mentioned in various places that it brought back "long-time" "fan-favorite" and New York Times "best sellers" and "collaborators" Johns and Frank yadda yadda.

Eradicator was brought back bad in the opening arc story in Superman. So all that's in his history now is Death/Return then this story. His stint with the Outsiders gone.

Blanque is a Manchester Black-like villain also with mind powers. Only difference between him and Black is, Blanque is supposedly more evil. Blanque showed up in the Superman: Lois and Clark mini from two years ago. He was the primary antagonist of that series.
