The start was Uncanny X-Men vs. Dark Avengers. Fraction had been delivering a decent enough Beast, but after that mess, Beast started declining in quality for unnecessary drama.

Bendis completely ruined Beast as a character. As a Beast fan myself, I can't say I liked what I read. To be fair, Bendis ruined both Cyclops and Emma Frost, as well.

I own his full run on DD. It's mostly because I'm a DD character fag, but I do consider it one of DD's stronger runs. It doesn't compare to Miller or Brubaker in my opinion, but it's very good and worth reading.

I'm also reading and collecting USM. I'm up to vol 15, and I have to say it's very good for what it is. It's a teen superhero romance guys. It's good though.

With all that being said I've really thought about posting a thread about The Defenders marvel synergy edition. It is absolute dog shit! I very rarely will read a comic and regret purchasing it, but Defenders issue 1 is the worst comic I've read in two years. The art is mediocre at best, the story fails to hook you in, Diamondback is brought in because muh synergy, and the extra dollar you pay (4.99) is for a fucking interview. It's a fucking Daily Bugle Luke Cage interview! This book spits in the face of Defenders fans and fans of street level heroes. It's Bendis at his worst.
