Battle of New York 2.0
>>
>>93470195
Some in on the flares! ENHANCE!
>>
What is Tony wearing?
>>
>>93470195
Hopefully New York is completely destroyed this time so we can focus on places that actually matter.
>>
Tony looking /fa/ as fuck.
>>
Lmao is RDJ wearing stilts?
>>
>>93470288
New york is the only place thats matters.
>>
FACIAL HAIR BROS! XD So epic! LOL!
>>
>>93470288
Considering that Marvel has a near-autistic fascination with NYC since the 60s, that's not fucking likely, dude.

Hell, the only other times we really even see any teams (Before the 50-State Initiative) that live outside of the Northeast, in any prominence, are the WCAvengers, or Alpha Flight. California and Canada.

It's why I laugh whenever people are now all of a sudden getting aware of Marvel's liberal stuff. Marvel has always been liberal, my dudes.
>>
>>93470369
I can't see them intentionally making a reference to this cringey Bendis joke.
I could see RDJ adlibbing the same joke though, which almost worse.
>>
>>93470195
So, another 27 casualties?
>>
I trust Russo's.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyUTeZVnd2w

More thrilling than any action scene in The Avengers and it is just two guys chasing each other.
>>
>>93470195
Aww man, no yellow gloves. He was wearing them in the stinger at the end of Doctor Strange.
>>
>>93470195
What is Tony wearing?
>>
>>93470596
/Fa/
>>
>>93470322

He always does.
>>
Just
>>
Looks like they travelled back in time to the Battle of New York.
>>
>>93470905
Actually possible since that's the last time Thanos' goons were on Earth
>>
>>93470195
13 people died.
>>
I hope this time they level the city. Maybe then apartments in the surrounding area won't be so damn expensive.
>>
>>93470272
Lifts.
>>
>>93471087
>all buildings destroyed
>giant bald manchildren invade the city and try to gentrify everything
>Avengers 5: Age of Kingpin

Really activated my almonds
>>
The battle of NYC is so lame. Compare it to the battle of Chicago in Transformers.
>>
>>93470255
Were... were you trying to say "zoom in"?
>>
>>93470322

RDJ is like 5'7", so he wears lifts and platform shoes and is never filmed below the waist just like Tom Cruise.
>>
>>93471166
>transformers
I didn't know China could access 4vhan
>>
>>93470288
1. In real life New York is the most importand city on the planet.

2. In Marvel New York is the most important city in the universe.
>>
>>93470288

>They film parts of each film in Liverpool
>Fuck it, let's just be honest where we're filming this time, rather than trying to convince everyone that the same set of roads is London, New York etc
>Thanos decides to make Scouseland ground zero, and proceeds to get chased into a train station
>Sequel has him getting pissed next to a group of students and oddly sweaty 50 year olds at the Raz

I'd watch it
>>
>>93470195
ADELE
>>
Why are you all so surprised there's gonna be a scene in New York? Thanos has to go there to get the Gems...
>>
>>93470195
>Still no gloves on Strange
Why do I even get my hopes up anymore.
>>
>>93472832
He had them on in the stinger, but they looked awful.
Cosplay tier.
>>
>>93472832
He'd just been doing some washing up when Thor showed up.
>>
>>93471014
But whyyyy...
>>
>>93471130
Keked
>>
>>93471413
>never filmed below the waist just like Tom Cruise
I watched The Mummy for some reason and there's a scene where we see Tom Cruise, in full, standing in the middle of the frame, and it made me realize that Tom Cruise had a really weird body.

WHEN'S CAPTAIN MAHVEL
>>
>>93471166
I agree. Battle of Chicago was pretty good.
>>
>>93471166
>>93474677

Damn, now that I think of it you're right, Dark of the Moon managed to make a more impactful alien invasion than Avengers.

I really couldn't stand either Avengers, tbqh.
>>
>>93474827
No it didn't, stop being contrarian.
>>
>>93474827
>>93474677
The city is properly under siege. Civilians getting murdered left and right and Cybertronians taking over. There is a sense of dread that makes you believe it when in the next movie the guy says "I lost a sister in Chicago! You have no sympathy for me!"

Just look at it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Kjmlp6_2v4
>>
>>93474900
>noticeable destruction
>full acknowledgement of civilian causalities
>no quips in the middle of what is essentially mass murder
Yeah nah, you're just being stubborn.
>>
>>93474945
>>93474971
>people actually defending bayformers
Jesus Christ, there are limits, /co/.
>>
>>93474900

Avengers:

>No apparent casualties to civilians
>No casualties in the side of the heroes
>99% quips and quirk
>Against the least threatening mooks possible
>Solved within about 15 minutes

Dark of the Moon:

>Obvious and very numerous civilian casualties
>Several casualties on the side of the heroes
>Situation portrayed appropriately bleak numerous times
>Quips and comedy present but balanced by darker moments
>Takes time and effort to solve the situation

>>93475033

Don't be retarded, m8. The point being made isn't "Bayformers is good", it's "Bayformers did better than Avengers at this one thing and that's sad".
>>
>>93470492
Thanks to the hard work of the true heroes, first repsonders!
Expect a montage at least twice as long
>>
>>93474677
>>93474827
>>93474900
>>93474945
>>93475093
Transformers did it first too.
>>
Why is Avengers compared to Transformers every time?

Avengers is based on famous iconic characters put together in an inovative way by mashing up 5 different movie franchises into one big comic book movie like the cinema industry has never seen before, cattering to every audience with great characters, their interactions, great action and funny moments.

Transformers is just... a movie about cars that turn into robots to fight. It even sounds stupid.
>>
>>93474563

They'll never adapt that sadly, I think a lot of the character rights are tied up in Fox's mutant bundle.
>>
>>93474971

>stupid shallow scene
>doesn't put you in the middle of the action
>camera pans around like you're supposed to care
>on screen deaths without any weight
>human protagonists walking around watching

It's terrible in a technical way, even worse on an emotional way.
>>
I just want a scene between Strange and Tony where Stark is reminded theres a lot of things he doesnt know. An out of body experience might be funny
>>
>>93470195
Thoughts on the new suit and reactor?
>>
>>93479016
I like how they're going for a bit more organic look. Not sold on the reactor, though.
>>
>>93473516
Money
They already have Chiutauri CGI models
>>
>>93477435
>implying Transformers isn't an iconic franchise as well
Fuck you
>>
>>93475033
Even Bay couldn't fuck up Decepticons being more dangerous than Chitauri
>>
>>93479016
Still hoping we get the black suit sometime before all this ends
>>
>>93477435
>Muh childhood scifi is better than yours
>>
>>93470195
what was the invaders strategy in the first battle again? Oh yeah they decided to just spam a ton of soldiers down a hole and pull off an all or nothing attack on a shitty ass city.
>>
>>93479430
>spam a ton of soldiers down a hole and pull off an all or nothing attack
I don't think so, otherwise it would have been more than 74 deaths.
>>
>>93474677
The latest movie shows that Chicago is uninhabitable after the invasion in the third and the giant ship from the fourth.

I don't know about Tom Cruise but RDJ even wears wedges on public appearances.
>>
>>93474585
she's looking more and more like a dyke I see. must be soon.
>>
>>93479016
I like how the unibeam is getting more and more Mickey shaped
>>
>>93479016
>going back to the Neanderthal brow
I thought they had moved past that, shame.
