Yea I thought so too. I don't know how productive a Mike section would be, though, as much as I'd also like to see it. I don't think he can really fix or do anything about the situation as it is right now. He can't talk to his girlfriend about things, and he can't try to force her to talk to him about their relationship because of the distance. It'd also be pretty shitty to dump her for it only to find out she legitimately was just really busy with work. He can't talk to any of his friend's because they'd be prompted to pick a side (if he complained about Lucy) or criticize his relationship with Sandy (if he complained about her), the latter of which he has very low tolerance for and it would likely just make him more defensive about it. He can't try to talk to Lucy again because she isn't having it and he's way too emotionally unstable to deal with it even if she did want to talk. Daisy is likely to be sympathetic but I don't think he feels all that close to her and might think she's trying to get with him. He's probably just going to try to ignore/hide his emotions for now because he doesn't have any clear outlet or way to fix his issues.

Honestly the only reason most people don't agree with this is that Abbey is a fairly minor character whereas Paulo has been the main character of The Paulo Show for a while now. People pretty much automatically side with him because he's an actual character. If Abbey had just had a few more chapters dealing with the problems Paulo caused his relationship then maybe this wouldn't be such a one-sided situation. Paulo has always been a huge dick and he can't keep getting away with it.

Honestly the annoying thing is that Paulo does face repercussions a lot of the time, like Jasmine calling him immature or Lucy getting upset at him when he banged those two girls. The consequences are usually fairly minor, though, and he just never really seems to question himself over it. Lucy had internal struggles about her relationship with Mike. Mike struggles with his complicated feelings regarding Lucy and Sandy, and he often feels conflicted about his need to see himself as a good person despite his complete mishandling of the Lucy situation. Paulo, on the other hand, may regret doing or not doing something, but he never really seems to try to change himself as a person or question his character. I guess there's always the polo a gay fiasco but that had nothing to do with his interactions with most of the main cast and doesn't seem to change his average behavior. If I'm wrong about this please give me some examples, because I don't WANT to hate Paulo especially since I get the feeling that the Paulo Show isn't over just yet but I just don't find myself having a reason get invested in him.

Is just me or the main characters never really change? they are way older but still acting the same.
