I'm more curious about the cropped off "his midget" in the corner.
I love the Silver Age.
The time Hal turned himself into a robot because of "Yellow" poison gas.
The Boomerang Force Saga

That time Hal created a sentient being and murdered it

Yeah and he became a hero.

Also, boomerang dimension
>>93464398
Is this the one where the horse transforms into a human and Supergirl gets feelings for him?
>>93464407
Yep.
>>93464506
Silver Age truly was the best age.
DC's Silver Age marketing strategy was to put crazy shit on the cover to entice readers into buying the comic to see what the fuck is going on.
>>93464546
Posting Silver Age Superman, or any DC comic for that matter, really is cheating, isn't it?
>>93460945
>>93464569
>>93462899
did Superboy have Aspergers?

silver age really was "daily adventures of god" wasnt it?
This page may seem standard on it's own, but it gets weirder once it's revealed Holga's a robot, sent by a member of Jimmy Olsen's fan club in a ploy to get Lucy Lane to date him.
>>93464718
Whatever happened to Lucy? All i know was after her and Jimmy broke up she started dating a black guy.

Well, depending on the continuity, she:
>Silver Age: Moves out of Metropolis
>Post-Crisis: Joins a government plot against the Kryptonians and gets super powers, eventually winds up imprisoned and estranged from Lois
>New 52: In limbo, after yet again having her DNA tampered with.
Lucy's had a hard life.
>>93462924
Something happens that he loses his standard powers, but can create a mini-superman that follows his will and has all his powers. Only he actually gets jealous of everyone admiring the mini-Superman duplicate.

Nah, it's easy enough to follow the backlinks.
I fucking love Bizarro world.
Was Silver Age superman manic depressive ?? He gets really upset when everyone in metropolis starts to like another Hero.
Also he generally seems annoyed all the time

I have a lot of covers saved from the last time we had this thread, most of which can be named Injustice 3 one way or another

>>93475270
what
>>93461979
Jimmy Olsen went to the Superman Museum and acquired an imitation Helmet of Hate. But the Helmet of Hate turned out not to be an imitation, and made him go crazy and shoot Superman with a red kryptonite raygun. This turned Superman red and also made him evil. So he goes to Brainiac One and Brainiac Two and asks them to let him aboard their ship so he can shrink Metropolis like Kandor. They're skeptical but he promises not to battle them and they figure when the red kryptonite wears off Superman will feel so guilty that he won't be able to be a superhero anymore so they agree. But then the tiny Supermen burst out of his horns and defeat them which allows Superman to keep his word while still being able to get their shrink ray destroyed to save Metropolis. Then Superman explains the whole series of events leading up to that point was a hoax to be able to destroy their shrink ray. Jimmy never actually had the real Helmet of Hate and never actually shot Superman with a red kryptonite raygun. Superman just dyed his skin red and put some citizens of Kandor in tiny Superman costumes and hid them inside fake horns he glued on to his forehead.
that's not how this works! that's the opposite of how this works!

It's because Carol wanted to propose since it's a leap year (girls can propose to guys) but Hal wants Carol to fall for the man and not the ring so he tries to avoid the subject by making a fucking giant monster (which Carol ignores). That's usually the whole schtick of Hal for like majority of the silver age run, he wants to prove hes more than the ring so he'd box criminals rather than use power beams when he can.
