laurel was only shit in season 1 and 2. season 3 she actually became a good character and then they threw it all away by killing her the very next season. producers are to blame for this, they wrote that season 4 opener in the graveyard without actually deciding who would be dead until halfway into the season.

Season 4 gets worse than Season 3 was at many points. The villain is retarded and Felicity gets away with even stupider shit.

Season 5 is closer to Season 1 in quality. Felicity's still a shit but the spotlight is much more clearly on Oliver, but it's also split between the new team who (aside from Wild Dog, who grows on you) are useless or insufferable.

There's some good moments, but the villain is overhyped as hell. They tried to go with a Slade 2.0 with someone personally against him and always with the upper hand, but Ollie doesn't have the investment with Prometheus personally, and he's completely off guard at every moment from him. Prometheus is too "good" of an antagonist, is what I'm saying. Prometheus pulling the wool over Ollie's eyes gets old after the third time, and then that's the rest of the fucking season.

Terrific is terrible, new Canary is flat, Artemis is a bitch but also not really involved, and as said Wild Dog grows on you. Diggle isn't as active, Felicity is active but not ever-present mostly, and we do get some nice flashback scenes with Ollie right up to the point he's rescued at the end of the season. Weakest flashback season next to S4 and China, but ended nicely enough.
