Camp Camp thread

What aspect of it is good? It's like a bad webcomic in cartoon form. The setting has been done to death. All the characters are lazy stereotypes except for the MC who exemplifies the lazy writer's self insert who only talks in sarcasm and sees right through everyone else. It's also needlessly crass in a way that doesn't make it any funnier. It's like a discount knock-off south park without the actual creativity and wit that made SP funny.

The motion tween in all the movement is so unbelievably distracting holy shit.

Chillax, Season 2 just started. But yeah, it's pretty great.

I like that they softened Max a tiny bit. He got outright insufferable in a lot of season one before he finally started falling on his face a little.

I agree, but s1 had some weak episodes too and I still enjoyed it a lot, and episode 1 of season 2 was impressive so I have hope
anyway, speaking of Daniel, what do you guys think about the "possibility" (or theory or speculation or whatever) that we might see him again, he could come back and disguise himself as David?

basically every character archetype in the series appeals to a very specific niche
so basically every character is worth fucking for different reasons, but more seriously I liked the humor and yeah the characters too, in the first three minutes I was already hooked so maybe it's just not for you and that's fine
I also liked the pacing and how it's not for a specific audience, like yeah they curse but it's not like there's mature content so they have to rely on other stuff to be enjoyable. I also think it knows when it needs to be serious and when not. And even though they curse as I said,
they can also use it to emphasize stuff and not just to be edgy. Like in the finale of s1.

Gwen is the classic girl with a nice body who is also cynical and constantly pissed off but also kind of cool
David is the always positive and happy innocent kinda fragile boy who always has everything bad happen to him and who you would love to dominate or see break down (which happens so yay)
Daniel is the creepy evil lookalike (selfcest is made possible)
Max is the jerk with an implied sad childhood or neglectful parents, plus shota and he's indian too apparently, that might appeal to some
Nikki is the tomboy, plus loli
Neil is the anxious nerd, plus shota
then there's that chick that is basically Wendy from GF and that dude that looks like human bill cipher, I don't even remember the names, but I'm sure those count too

I guess if you're into old guys like Stan or something but he doesn't appear a lot and he's not really developed so if you were to watch the show for him you would be disappointed
but I would love it if they made him finally interact with David in a meaningful way, since he kind of idolizes him

His parents don't care about him and dropped him off at camp for the summer so they didn't have to deal with him. He receives a letter form his parents who have stamped a message on it showing they don't care.

He'll probably bond with David about it when David explains his lack of a father and how camp made him feel better.
David might have a touching/funny scene where he realizes David cares more about him than his parents or something. Maybe Max will hug him and then throw up.
