Conan & Wonder Woman crossover

I've only read the Rebirth Wonder Woman series and the Perez origin story. Wasn't a fan of the former, but liked the latter a lot. Is the writer for this similar to the Rebirth one? If not, I'll definitely pick up the first issue

lol, nope. There's no reason a civilized female from a country modeled after the Ellada would befriend a barbarian. Conan respects strong women, but that has a big carnal element in it which I'm not seeing Diana buying into. This is a case of "durr, they both use old-timey melee weapons so lets put them in a book together". I'm hoping they just make this a Conan adventure story with Diana instead of female warlord #x. If they try to go with a Wondy story this can only go south.

I'm still annoyed the transformers/DC crossover was cancelled and hasn't been picked back up given the fact that DC are doing crossovers every other week at this point
